Tissue Culture 3201
During this class we analyzed T47D breast cancer cells. The process of cell culture is not a easy task. Over the semester we learned how to prepare cell lines, wash them, and splitting methods. Also I learned how to quantify the cell lines on a hemocytometer. Eventually the class was able to produce groups that proposals that tried to prove the effectiveness of Vitamin C on the T47D cancer cells.
Bioseminar 4276
Bioseminar happened to be one the hardest classes, not because of the the learning material. But because I had a hard time with producing a quality specific sims. This semester I had the pleasure of choosing a partner to collaborate on a proposal that could possibly solve a crisis disease in the community. We decided to explore the mechanism of a MRSA. This inquisitive bacteria that affects almost any age group and various environments including hospitals. So we suggested that the S. auereus bacteria could be targeted using its own Aps system against itself.
